Tomorrow I will be rock climbing in the city at Brooklyn Boulders in the West Loop with one of my best friends. Neither one of us have ever attempted rock climbing so it will certainly be interesting! We are taking an “intro” class, which is comforting because I am absolutely clueless. Which for some reason, makes me completely giddy! I really don’t mind the struggle. In my mind I know it’s going to be tricky to say the least. I expect a lot of laughter.
The pass we purchased allows us access to Brooklyn Boulders for the entire day. Immediately following are climbing class, there is an beginners yoga class. I am not a beginner, but it’s been long enough (1 year and a half) that you could basically call me a beginner. I know what my mind needs most is yoga. Yoga calms me, keeps me collected. It grounds me and livens my soul.
Today is Friday and I am ridiculously exhausted from an emotional work week. Tomorrow is the medicine I need to feel better mentally… Tomorrow will be a better day.
That sounds like so much fun! Rest up and just take your time. I bet it will be such an experience. Great slice!

What a fun Saturday to anticipate. Trying something totally new with a good friend, and then yoga. With the benefits you mention, “I know what my mind needs most is yoga. Yoga calms me, keeps me collected. It grounds me and livens my soul,” all schools should offer yoga for teachers. Have a fun weekend!
